Higher Skilled Unemployed
Trobius is keen to pursue activities that are designed to meet the needs of different cohorts of people. More recently the increase in unemployment levels has exposed a gap in services for those who have a higher baseline of skills and experience but for whom the job market is a new and often difficult arena.
So our thoughts are to find ways to plug this gap. And we have started doing so through:
- Enabling Higher Skilled as an area of focus in our Norfolk services.
- Being able to provide consultancy to organisations wishing to address higher skilled unemployed.
- Working at creating sustainable business opportunities for customers to move into.
- Developing specialised programmes of support to enable skills to be recognisable and transferable to changing, growth or new sectors of employment.
