Flexible Routeways in Norfolk
Trobius are contracted to the Department for Work and Pensions until June 2011 to provide the Flexible Routeways service in the county of Norfolk, England.
This service is designed to provide 1700 unemployed people with tailored support packages aimed at achieving employment. Participation is voluntary and is open to any Norfolk resident who is unemployed.
As well as our own staff, we work with a range of partners including Meridian East and Move On East to provide unemployed individuals with advice and guidance, skills development, job search, work-experience and in-work support in a tailored, individualised Action Plan. Our Caseworkers provide the service on a 1:1 and group approach, in centre and in the community. They build relationships with customers and co-ordinate the planning, implementation and review of customers’ action plans.
Activities are highly variable without a predefined agenda or schedule. The Flexible Routeways service enables individuals to plan their own activites and seeks to facilitate access to the broad range of services offered throughout Norfolk and fills the gaps in services otherwise unavailable.
Flexible Routeways is a co-financed initiative of the Department for Work and Pensions and the European Social Fund.
